A multipurpose target trainer, featuring a tennis ball target, a small rebound panel target and a with a catch net behind so that your players can see the balls they successfully aim.

And no disputes! When you’re ready, simply open the catch net drawstring, empty the balls and count. For team challenges, use different ball colours.

The design also let you use the target at full frame height (so you could use it behind a tennis net, for example), or at a lower height for younger players.

At the lower height, you also have the option of using the raised side poles as a further target.

From our new range of portable coaching aids, meet the Spot On Target Trainer!

Out of its carry bag, you get a light, neatly bundled frame, folded bright yellow ‘net’ and three flexible coloured spots which attach to the targets.

The Spot On Target Trainer works really well in a Mini Tennis environment, and the colour coding option is a helpful visual aid for children. The spot is attached at the top only, and a ball which strikes passes through the circle. Vary which colours are attached for emphasis and interest. The level of progression is obvious, moving from larger red, through orange, to the smallest green target.

For younger children, use for throwing and aiming practice. The target height can be lowered to suit. For older children developing targeted tennis striking skills, the trainer is designed to be used both behind and in front of the net and placed on the court according to your lesson.

The fun factor in aiming for coloured targets makes the Spot On Target Trainer particularly good, too, where you’re using stations in your coaching, and for multi-skills games on court and off.

A hugely versatile training aid with wide application at all levels, our Target Trainer has the benefit of being extremely light and portable.

So it’s easy to store, easy to carry about, and really quick to set up.

The product consists of a material target with sleeves, which fits neatly over a narrow frame.

All frame pieces are held together by bungee cord, so it’s easy to assemble (and difficult to lose any). The central target has a detachable net, so you can either hit straight through or catch the balls.

How to use it? We designed the target to be highly visible above the height of a tennis net but can be placed anywhere of the court according to suit your coaching or drill.

Place the Target Trainer behind your tennis net to drill hitting through from the baseline (full court, orange court or Mini Tennis court) Ideal for practising hitting depth on ground-strokes.

Lowering the target allows you to use the side poles (see images) as a target, too.

For younger players, Early Years or Inclusive groups, the ‘catching net’ comes into its own for fun games. Simple lower the target by sliding the sleeves down the poles, and you’ve got an accessible, easy target to bounce, throw or hit the ball through into the net.

Flexible, light, extremely portable, and comes with its own carry bag. The frame folds quickly down into a neat bundle.

Just wrap the velcro strap around it, and you’re ready to go.

Our latest version of of our Ball Rolling Ramp is an even more flexible and useful piece of kit. It’s also stronger.

And now sold with a pair of clip-on side poles.

Our Ball Rolling Ramp is a light, folding ramp with a target catching net, designed for fun games and drills – to teach early ball skills, and with relevance to inclusive groups, too.

A new kid on the block!

Our little Early Years target trainer mouse has a catching net, and two sticky velcro ‘ears’ which will trap an on-target tennis ball.

It’s an ideal teaching tool for early aiming and throwing practice, with lots of scope for fun ball games, before moving on to using it with a racket and ball as skills develop.

The target itself is designed to be used at any height on the frame, so it can be lowered for very young children – and lowering it gives you an additional target space, too, between ‘net’ and frame.

Suggested age range is children over 3 years, Tennis Tots and above. But younger children in nursery classes who can throw a ball will find it fun, too.

Folds down and sets up in minutes. The folded frame is held securely in place by an elastic and velcro strap, and fits neatly into a carry bag.

Works really well with our Bounce Back Hitting Tee.
